The notion of entering the self-publishing world came about when our founder AM Castwell was sorting through his various art that had amassed over time, particularly old line-art. Why leave it sitting around to collect dust, both digital and real, when it can be refurbished and brought to life as coloring books to entertain?
Thus Five Pickles Press came into being!
Five Pickle Press' main focus for coloring books--true to our founders innate love of cartoons--is providing a whimsical experience for people of ALL AGES and most books will be for all. And books that skew toward older audiences will be very clearly marked.
Now. If you find yourself wondering about how we came up with "Five Pickles Press"--Quite simply that is the exact number of pickles a good friend likes to have on their submarine sandwiches.
